FC DALLAS WOMEN  1-1  CORINTHIANS FC OF SAN ANTONIO

Corinthians FC of San Antonio (0-1-0) picked up a big point on the road to start the season at FC Dallas Women (0-1-1). Morgan Brown put the hosts in the lead in the 26th minute. Marta Frone Moreno pulled things level for the visitors ten minutes before halftime.

AUSTIN RISE FC  2-0  FORT WORTH VAQUERAS

Austing Rise FC (2-1-0) moved to the top of the Lone Star Conference with a 2-0 win over Fort Worth Vaqueras (0-0-2). Aika Tobaru scored in the second minute and Saki Takaki doubled Austin’s lead in the 16th. Goalkeeper Peyton Urban earned the clean sheet in goal.

FUTBOLERA SELECT  1-1  FC DALLAS WOMEN

Futolera Select (0-2-0) picked up its second straight draw at home, playing FC Dallas Women (1-1-1) to a 1-1 deadlock. Libby Jannereth put the visitors in the lead in the 57th minute. Emelly Chicas Cabrera leveled things from the penalty spot in the 72nd.

CORINTHIANS FC OF SAN ANTONIO  1-1  FORT WORTH VAQUERAS

The Fort Worth Vaqueras (0-1-2) earned its first WPSL point with a 1-1 road draw at Corinthians FC of San Antonio (0-1-1). Aiden Bailey put the visitors in the lead in first half stoppage time. Gabriela Mendez Ortiz leveled things for the hosts in the second half.

(10C) SOUTHSTAR FC  1-3  AUSTIN RISE FC

Austin Rise FC (3-1-0) climbed to the top of the Lone Star Conference closing out the week with a 3-1 road win over SouthStar FC (1-0-1). Saki Takaki put the visitors in the lead in the 20th minute from the penalty spot. Emma Torres made it 2-0 in the 75th minute. Michelle Davidson made it 3-0 with eight minutes to play in the match. Shanti Weddington pulled SouthStar a goal back in injury time but it was not enough.

(10/4) LOU FUSZ ATHLETIC  1-0  MISSOURI REIGN

Lou Fusz Athletic (3-0-0) showed why it is the 10th ranked team in the country with a 1-0 win over Missouri Reign (0-0-2) on just a day’s rest. Madison Vasiloff scored her second goal of the season in the win. Caroline Ritter earned her third consecutive clean sheet in goal for Athletic.

PEORIA CITY  7-0  JUNCTION FC

Peoria City (1-0-2) picked up its first WPSL win cruising past Junction FC (0-0-2) 7-0. Joella Livingston, Rylann Law, and AJ Mayock each tallied braces, and Aniya Seymoure had a goal in win. Peyton Rhodes earned the clean sheet in goal. 

 

Friday, May 30

(19/9) FC PRIDE  1-1  (10/4) LOU FUSZ ATHLETIC

Lou Fusz Athletic (3-1-0) closed out the week with a tough 1-1 road draw over No. 19 FC Pride (2-1-0). Haylee Braun put the visitors up in the 37th minute. Breece Bass drew things level in second half stoppage time to salvage the draw. Both ranked teams remain unbeaten on the season.

Holland Hawkins tallied a brace and Georgia Pardolas scored as the Missouri Reign (1-0-2) picked up its first win of the season over Junction FC (0-0-3). Natalie Allison posted the clean sheet in goal for Missouri.

SIDE FC OKC  0-6  (16/7) OKLAHOMA CITY FC

Oklahoma City FC (2-0-0) took the first leg of the 405 Derby with a 6-0 win at Side FC OKC. Londynn Hagen scored twice, and Rylee McLanahan, Sabrina Guzman, Evie Munn, and Macey McFarlane scored for the 16th-ranked side in the nation. Goalkeeper, Callie Sullivan, earned the clean sheet in her first start in goal.

UNION KC  1-0  KC COURAGE

Greycen Erisman scored the game’s only goal as Union KC (2-0-0) picked up three vital Heartland Division points over KC Courage (0-0-3). Goalkeeper Madison Sibbing earned the clean sheet for Union KC. 

Saturday, May 31

UNION KC  5-1  FC WICHITA

Union KC (3-0-0) moved within striking distance of the top spot in the Heartland Division thanks to a 5-1 win over FC Wichita (1-1-2). Adriana Benassi and Grace Vest each had two goals in the win, along with a goal from Cherry Yu. Hanna Castro scored for Wichita.

Oklahoma City FC (3-0-0) remain unbeaten after closing out Matchweek Three with a 3-0 win over KC Courage (0-0-4). Narissa Fults, Rylee McLanahan, and Sabrina Guzman scored for Oklahoma City. Goalkeeper Callie Sullivan earned the clean sheet in goal.

Side FC OKC (1-0-2) picked up its first win of the season with a 2-0 home win over KC Courage (0-0-5). Caid Jefferson and Kendra Boydstun scored for Side FC. Tanya Aryeequaye earned the clean sheet in goal.

FC WICHITA  0-0  SUNFLOWER STATE FC

FC Wichita (1-1-2) and Sunflower State FC (1-1-0) closed out Heartland Division play for the week with a 0-0 draw. Goalkeepers Karsyn Slothower for Wichita and Maria Heuman for Sunflower earned clean sheets.

Sophie Redner tallied four goals, Isabel Dillehay and Jaelyn Greer had braces, and Brooklyn Gold, Anna Schellpeper, and Ariah Velasquez score goals as  Indios Denver FC (1-0-0) opened its season with a big road win over Colorado Blizzard FC (0-0-1). Favour Akpokiere scored for the Blizzard.

COLORADO PRIDE  1-6  NORTHERN COLORADO RAIN

Northern Colorado Rain (1-0-1) made a huge statement Friday night topping Colorado Pride (0-0-1) 6-1. Abby Ballek and Macy Schultz had a pair of goals each, and Mia Casey and Amy Smith added individual goals in the win. Isabel Murdock scored for Colorado Pride.

PSD Academy moved to 2-0-0 on the season with a big win over Indios Denver FC (1-0-1). Cate Sheahan and Raleigh Greason scored for PSD in the win. Kate Kleinsmith earned the clean sheet in goal.

PSD Academy (3-0-0) closed out Matchweek Four with a big win over Colorado Blizzard FC (0-0-2). Addison Craig, Ava Arnold, Hanna Arnold, Kelly Francis, and Marin Stamper all tallied braces, and Clara Geuzaine, Sidney Armstong, and Delaney Kitchens scored individual goals in the win.

City SC Utah (1-0-3) picked up three points Friday with a 4-1 win over Griffins FC (0-0-4). Audrey Matuauto had a pair of second half goals, after Savannah Page and Josie Shepherd put City SC in the lead. Megan Hendricks pulled Griffins within one before City SC pulled away.

Samantha Neves and Nevaeh Peregrina scored goals for La Roca FC (2-0-1) to close out the week with a 2-0 win over City SC Utah (1-0-4). Emmalene McKeon earned the clean sheet in goal for La Roca.

METASPORT FC  1-2  (4/2) UTAH AVALANCHE

The No. 4 Utah Avalanche (4-0-0) remain perfect on the season with a 2-1 road win over MetaSport FC (1-0-2). Sadie Beardall put the visitors in the lead in the 10th minute. Bailee Ballard equalized things in the 49th. Kate Denny scored the winner from the penalty spot in the 75th to keep the Avalanche in the hunt for the top spot in the Wasatch Division

(18/8) FC MILWAUKEE TORRENT  4-1  (15/6) GREEN BAY GLORY

FC Milwaukee Torrent (2-0-0) picked up a huge 4-1 home win over No. 15 Green Bay Glory to remain in the hunt for the Lake Michigan Division title. Sophia Balistreri opened scoring at the half hour mark for Milwaukee. Jordan Schaden drew things level at one for Green Bay in the 64th minute before the flood gates opened with goals by Ashlyn Skinner-Barrett, Cate Downs, and Addison Stanciak in the last twenty minutes of the match.

MILWAUKEE CITY AFC  0-7  CHICAGO HOUSE AC

Chicago House AC (1-0-2) got back on track with a decisive 7-0 win over Milwaukee City AFC (0-0-4) to close out the week. Emily Rossi scored three, and Alexis Suptela, Aleyia Cisneros, and Sophie Kirsten scored individual goals. A Milwaukee City own goal rounded out the scoring. Goalkeepers Abby Haksell and Jay Arballo shared the clean sheet in the match.

ST. CROIX LEGACY  2-1  (8/3) SALVO SC

Tatum Trettel scored an added time winner to give St. Croix Legacy (2-0-0) a huge 2-1 home win over No. 8 Salvo SC (1-0-1) to kick off Land of the Lakes Division play for Matchweek Four. Stella Nielsen put the hosts in the lead in the 20th minute. Lauren Eckerle leveled the score for Salvo at the hour mark, which held until stoppage time.

Salvo SC (2-0-1) bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 3-1 road win over Mankato United Soccer Club (0-0-1). Riley Lijewski bookended the evening’s scoring with goals in the eighth and 77th minute. Katelyn Beulke made it 2-0 for Salvi in the 18th minute. Jade Jackson pulled a goal back for the hosts in the 47th.

Joy A.C. (0-1-2) picked up its first point of the season fighting for a 1-1 draw on the road at Minnesota Dutch Lions (0-2-0). Allie Hartig put the hosts in the lead in the 25th minute. Abbie Mimm leveled things for the visitors in the 62nd.

MN Bliss FC moved to 2-0-0 on the season thanks to a 2-1 win over Manitou F.C. (0-0-2). Loretta Wacek put the hosts in the lead in the first minute, and Ella Wade made it 2-0 20 minutes later. Madeline Thompson pulled a goal back for Manitou F.C. in the 56th minute but it was not enough.

Number 8 Salvo SC (3-0-1) closed out a tough week with a 6-1 road win over Minnesota Thunder (0-0-1). Ashley Thurk, Avery Petty, Davy Mokelke, Elle Wildman, Katelyn Beulke, and Sophia Barjesteh scored for Salvo in the win. Kendall Stadden scored for Minnesota’s lone goal in the match.
