The Women’s Premier Soccer League, in its 26th season, is the largest women’s soccer league in the world with over 130 clubs.  The WPSL provides a three-month window from May thru July for elite amateur athletes to showcase their talents.  Rosters feature collegiate, post-collegiate, international, standout prep and National Team athletes.

  • The WPSL is a privately owned company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Participating teams span across the United States from coast-to-coast.
  • The WPSL provides each team an Operations Manual that outlines Minimum Standards and Team Expectations for maintaining a team within the WPSL.
  • League management is comprised of a four-member Executive Committee, who elects four Associate Commissioners, who in-turn elect respective Conference Delegates.  The WPSL front office consists of staff members in the areas of officiating, marketing, communications, and team services.
  • The WPSL is divided into four regions, with each region having four conferences.  WPSL Regions and Conference alignments are based on geography and travel distance.
  • League Playoffs consist of each conference champion advancing to a Regional Championship. Regional Champions meet in a semifinal and final single-elimination bracket format to determine the WPSL Champion.
  • The Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) is sanctioned by the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA), which is an affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), the ruling body of soccer in the United States.
  • WPSL New Team Entry Fees and Annual Membership Dues are reasonable.  Each club retains control of its individual operating budget in accordance with WPSL Minimum Standards outlined in the WPSL Operating Manual.
