The Women’s Premier Soccer League has named Khyah Harper of Salvo SC as the National Player of the Week from Week 7 play. 


Harper contributed to eight of Salvo’s 12 goals in its two wins on the week with the University of Minnesota senior scoring seven and assisting one.


Salvo faced Manitou F.C. in its first match of Week 7 when Harper recorded a hat trick in 26 minutes and tallied her fourth before the end of the first half.  In its second Week 7 match against Rochester United FC, Harper opened the second half with two goals in two minutes after doubling Salvo’s lead in the 14’ min of the first half.


Harper is currently running away with the Golden Boot race and has 15 goals on the season so far – leading Salvo and the Northern Conference.
