In its first match of Week 5, UK F.C. traveled to Washington Dutch Lions FC and went into the half down a goal. In the 50’ minute, Taylor scored to give UK F.C. the 2-1 lead and added a second goal to end the match 3-1 – UK F.C.’s first win of its inaugural season.

Taylor’s impact continued in UK F.C.’s second match of the week when it hosted fellow expansion side, Alexandria Reds. UK F.C. went down early in the 11’ minute before finding an equalizer just before half. The scoreline was deadlock through much of the second half until Taylor scored the game winner in the 76’ minute to give UK F.C. its second win of the season.
