McNulty led Rhode Island to its second win of the season and helped the Rogues to a 4-1 win at home over expansion side Merrimack Valley Hawks FC. By contributing to all four of Rhode Island's goals, McNulty was a dominant force in the Rogue’s offense.
 

After going down in the opening minutes of the match, McNulty found Brooke Jenkins on an assist to equalize and bring the Rogues back level 1-1. McNulty netted her first goal of the game in the 18’ to give the Rogues the 2-1 lead. A second-half brace secured Rhode Island’s home opener win and McNulty collected her hattrick with goals in the 57’ and 84’ minutes.
 

The win moved Rhode Island to the top of standings table and 2-0-0 on the season. McNulty leads the conference with five goals in two games.
