2023 WPSL ALL-REGION TEAMS NAMED

Oklahoma City (July 19, 2023) – The Women’s Premier Soccer League unveiled its first-annual All-Region Team selection. Players named have been awarded the accolade after their performance in the league’s Regional Playoffs from July 15-16. Eleven honorees were selected in each of their respective regions – West, Central, South, and East.

The league will host the 2023 WPSL Championship this weekend, July 22-23, at Neal Patterson Stadium on the campus of Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla. The four teams who will compete for the Jerry Zanelli Cup are SC del Sol, out of the West Region’s Desert Conference, Salvo SC, from the Central Region’s Northern Conference, Charlotte Eagles, representing the South Region’s Southeast Conference, and Rhode Island Rogues, out of the East Region’s Northeastern Conference.

ALL-WEST REGION TEAM

Eleven players from SC del Sol, California Storm, SoCal Reds FC, and Westside Metros were chosen to the All-Region Team, including Megan Chelf (SoCal Reds FC) who earned Regional Player of the Week in Week 9 competition.
