For the fourth week in a row there is a new No. 1 In the National Power Rankings presented by SouthStar Systems. Nashville Rhythm F.C. (4-0-0) moved up one spot from last week, switching places with FC Dayton to take over the top spot. The biggest movers after Week 4 are first-year club Arlington Soccer (3-0-0) at No. 5, up 10 spots from last week, and the San Francisco Nighthawks (3-0-0), up from 24th last week. Sioux Falls City FC (2-0-0) enters the Top 10 for the first time this season. Week 4 losses took tolls on the Charlotte Eagles, down two spots to No. 14, and the Rhode Island Rogues, down 18 spots to No. 22.
1. NASHVILLE RHYTHM F.C. (4-0-0)
South Region — Southeast Conference
Week 3 Rank: 2nd
Back-to-back wins gave Nashville the bump it needed to finally reach the No. 1 spot: Kinsten Evans and Sachiko Gamo scored goals in the opening minutes of each half in the club’s 2-1 win at Georgia Impact. Maddie Padelski bagged three goals, and Emelly Cabrera, Angeline Kieh, Ruby Teixeira, Shadia Valenzuela, and Aireona Duenez added goals in the 8-0 home win over FC Birmingham the next day. Kieh leads the club with six goals, followed by Padelski with three. The Rhythm takes on UFA Gunners (0-0-1) on Friday, June 7.
2. FC DAYTON (5-0-0)
Central Region — Midwest Conference — Gateway Division
Week 3 Rank: 1st
Two Week 4 wins were not enough to keep FC Dayton at the top for a second week. After punishing visiting F.C. Spirit 6-0 on Saturday, it took everything Dayton had to get past FC Pride the next day. Jenna Hallbeck had two goals, and Alisa Arthur, Peyton Kohls, Natalie Burwinkel all added goals before an F.C. Spirit own goal closed out the scoring for the day. The next day, Dani Hicks scored her fourth goal of the season in Dayton’s 1-0 win over FC Pride. Kohls leads the team in scoring with five goals, followed by Hallbeck and Hicks with four each. Dayton takes to the road for a Week 5 double-header, Saturday June 8 at Lou Fusz Athletic, and Sunday, June 9 at Junction FC (1-2-1).
3. UTAH AVALANCHE (4-1-0)
Central Region — Mountain Division — Wasatch Division
Week 3 Rank: 3rd
A 5-2 win at Northern Utah United kept the Utah Avalanche at No. 3 for a second week. Seven Castain bagged three—upping her tally to eight on the season—and Lilliah Blum picked up two goals in the win. The Avalanche is in action again Saturday, June 8 versus the Utah Red Devils (0-0-4).
4. SC del SOL (3-0-1)
West Region — Desert Conference
Week 3 Rank: 5th
A win and a draw in back-to-back games bumped SC del Sol up one spot for the third straight week. Del Sol kicked off the weekend hosting El Paso Surf which resulted in its third win of the season. Tatum Thomason tallied a hattrick, Olivia Jandreski scored twice, and Kyla Ferry and Sami Fisher each added goals in the 7-0 win. The next day del Sol traveled down I-10 to face longtime rivals, FC Tucson. Twice de Sol went up a goal, and twice Tucson managed to claw the score back level, including a stoppage time equalizer, finishing at 2-2. Fisher and Kristen Puels scored in the draw. Fisher and Thomason lead all SC del Sol scorers with three this season. Del Sol hosts Arizona Arsenal Soccer Club (2-0-0) Wednesday, June 5.
5. ARLINGTON SOCCER (3-0-0)
South Region — Atlantic Conference — The District Division
Week 3 Rank: 15th
Climbing as high as No. 3 early in the season thanks to some good early results, the expansion side kept up its winning ways in Week 4 with a 5-0 road win over Washington Dutch Lions FC. Ellie Stokes tallied two goals, along with Logan Tongberg, Jocelyn Lohmeyer, and Kate Hawley in the win. In three games, Arlington has outscored its opponents 10 to one. Arlington is back in action at McLean Soccer Sunday, June 9.
6. SAN FRANCISCO NIGHTHAWKS (3-0-0)
West Region — Pac North Conference
Week 3 Rank: 24th
One of the league’s founding clubs, the Nighthawks are experiencing a resurgence, unbeaten in 2024 after finishing fourth in the Pac North Conference in 2023. The Nighthawks jumped into the Top 10 with two Week 4 wins on the road: 2-1 at San Francisco Elite Soccer Club and 8-3 at Nevada Futbol Club. Raniyah Burton, Sydney Cooke, and Maggie Altman, each have scored four goals in the early season, accounting for 12 of the club’s 15 goals in three games. The Nighthawks travel to San Ramon FC (0-0-0) on Sunday.
7. CLARKSTOWN SOCCER CLUB (2-0-0)
East Region — Northeastern Conference
Week 3 Rank: 8th
A comprehensive 3-1 win at fourth-ranked Rhode Island Rogues bumped Clarkstown up one to the No. 7 spot. Kelly Brady tallied twice in the upset win, along with Sophia Bradley. Brady leads Clarkstown in scoring with four goals on the season. Clarkstown hosts a double-header this weekend: Merrimack Valley Hawks (1-2-0) FC Saturday, June 8, and New York Shockers (1-1-0) June 9.
8. KC COURAGE (3-0-0)
Central Region — Heartland Conference
Week 3 Rank: 13th
A 3-0 win on the road over FC Wichita bumped KC Courage to the top of the Heartland Conference table and up five spots back into the Top 10 after a one-week absence. Riley Smith tallied twice, and Mikayla Ernst added a goal in KC Courage’s second win over Wichita in consecutive weeks. The Courage enters Week 5 with back-to-back road games, at Oklahoma City FC (1-0-1) Saturday, June 8, and at Side FC 92 (1-2-0) the next day.
9. MINNESOTA THUNDER (2-0-0)
Central Region — Northern Conference
Week 3 Rank: 14th
Minnesota jumped back into the Top 10 thanks to a 3-0 road win at Mankato United Soccer Club. Paige Kalal scored twice, along with Kaitlyn MacBean in the win. MacBean leads the team with three goals on the season. The win moved the Thunder to second in the Northern Conference table behind Sioux Falls City FC (2-0-0) on goal differential. Week 5 can make-or-break Minnesota’s season with games Wednesday, June 5 at 15th-ranked Salvo SC (1-0-0), Friday, June 7 at 10th-ranked Sioux Falls City (2-0-0), and Sunday, June 9 at St. Croix Legacy (0-0-0).
10. SIOUX FALLS CITY FC (2-0-0)
Central Region — Northern Conference

Sioux Falls City FC climbed into the Top 10 for the first time in 2024 on the back of two Week 4 wins to kick off the season, 7-0 at Rochester United FC and 3-1 at Joy AC two days later. City opens its home schedule Friday, June 7 versus ninth-ranked Minnesota Thunder (2-0-0), and then takes back to the road Sunday, June 9 at Manitou F.C. (1-1-0).
